<p>We only use our own grapes, which are hand-picked, with a selection of the best grapes in the vineyard and a further selection at the Cellar. The first must is obtained from the freshly picked grapes using a gentle pneumatic press. The must is then filtered by static decanting, before fermenting the clear must in stainless steel tanks.</p>

<div id="_mcePaste"><strong>Description</strong></div>
<div id="_mcePaste">It’s a single vineyard wine, all grapes belongs to the same vineyard, PLA DEL LLADONER. This wine it’s a blend of Sauvignon Blanc (85%) and Chardonnay (15%), (we call it “Sauvignnay”), aged on lees. This ageing gives the wine aromatic richness and complexity.</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">Elaboration</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">We realized five staggered harvests in different times of maturation of the grapes which will bring a better aromatic complexity. The harvest took place only during the coolest hours in the night and early morning. We used exclusively for the winemaking, the grape juice flower. Static racking and for Chardonnay variety, we filled up the new French Oak Allier of 300 Ltrs during 3 weeks, where the wines will make the fermentation at 18ºC followed by the maturity on they’re own lees for 3-4 months more. For Sauvignon variety the fermentation is taking place at 14-15ºC during 25 days followed by a maturity time on they’re own lees for 3 months in the stainless steel tank. Careful with the preparation of the final blend and bottling where it’s going to complete its roudness and give us his complexity.</div>

<div id="_mcePaste">View: Brilliant straw yellow with golden metallic and new gold</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">reflections.</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">Nose: Good intensity, subtle and elegant, with fresh aromas, citrus</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">notes, soft floral and balsamic memories. Changes in the moment it’s</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">opened and also keeps maturing in the bottle.</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">Mouth: Fresh entry, nice acidity which will get roundly because of its</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">maturity in the bottle, soft touch, long and pleasant retro taste,</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">bringing back the fruit, making well the evolution in the bottle.</div>
<div id="_mcePaste"><strong>Wine pairing and service</strong></div>
<div id="_mcePaste">It’s a perfect companion for food. Links very well with a good selection of cheeses and supports many combinations. To be served at 10-13ºC, may require a small decantation. To be consumed now as a young wine or next year and half 2 years if we want to find a complex wine with different nuances and aromas. To take care of the wine conservation, bellow 16ºC.</div>

<p>This is like the Blanc de Serè (young white from the same cellar) but aged in oak with lees from fermentation in barrels. This superimposition gives this white wine complexity without losing its origins. Try it with more daring dishes.</p>
<p><strong>Varieties:</strong> Macabeo, Parellada and a small amount of Chardonnay.</p>
<p><strong>Winemaking:</strong> controlled-temperature fermentation in tanks for six months and aged in barrels for about four months.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Llebre by Tomàs Cusiné red wine aged 6 month in french oak (DO Costers del Segre)</p>
<p>Blend of 28% tempranillo, 21% merlot, 18% cabernet sauvignon, 12% garnatxa, 11% cariñena y 10% syrah.</p>
<p>The vines are supported by vase and trellis, in a claycalcareous and franc-clay soil. Hand harvested and cooled in cold-storage rooms before going through the selection table. Fermentation takes place at a temperature of 22-24°C. There is a short skin soaking. A 6 months ageing in French oak barrels.</p>
<p>Dark red cherry color with garnet edge. Clean vivid nose with red fruit compote tones, sweeties, balsamics, spices, vanilla, white pepper, clove and oak tones well integrated. Velvety, fresh and elegant in the mouth with nice and gentle tannins and liquorice hints. Red fruit and spiced tones on the finish.</p>
<p>Bottled in September 2011.</p>
<p>13,6% alcohol by vol.</p>
